HALLWAY - FRANKIE'S FLASHBACK DAY The events of her flashback are shot in CSI fashion with lap dissolves slow motion, and extreme lighting. Frankie is walking down the hallway, and suddenly Cleo walks around the corner and bumps right into Frankie. Cleo starts to pull away, but we see that Frankie's neck bolt is caught on Cleo's bandages. Cleo starts to struggle to free herself. CLEO (CONT'D) Hey, get away from me! FRANKIE I'm caught! In a series of lap dissolves: we see Cleo jerk back. We see the bandages caught on Frankie's bolt. Frankie's eyes go wide. Her bolt flies off. It hits a nearby statue. The statue teeters and then falls to the ground, smashing to pieces. Frankie and Cleo stand there in shock. BACK TO REALITY: EXT. HEADLESS HEADMISTRESSES OFFICE - DAY Cleo and Frankie sulk, arms crossed. Just then, we hear the WHINNY OF A HORSE (O.S.) Then we hear the ominous thunk-thunk-thunk of heavy boots. Frankie and Cleo instinctively sit upright when Headless Headmistress Bloodgood passes. Though we only see her from the waist down (dressed in riding boots, and carrying a riding crop) we can tell she is all business. HEADLESS HEADMISTRESS BLOODGOOD My office. NOW. Cleo and Frankie look up in trepidation. INT. HEADLESS HEADMISTRESSES BLOODGOOD OFFICE - A FEW MINUTES LATER Cleo and Frankie sit in front of her imposing desk. The Headmistress takes off her head, fluffs her hair and returns it to her neck. HEADLESS HEADMISTRESS BLOODGOOD A two thousand year old statue was smashed... what happened? FRANKIE It was an acc-- CLEO Here's the honest to Ra's truth... CUT TO: INT. HALLWAY CLEO'S FLASHBACK - DAY The hallway is darkened and it is shot like a classic 1930's monster movie -- in black and white, a lot of upshots and screaming students running about. Frankie, twice her normal size lumbers down the hall with her arms outstretched in classic Frankenstein fashion. Cleo crouches behind a drinking fountain. As Frankie approaches, she bravely jumps out in front the monster. CLEO I command you to stop! There is no telling what precious school property you might destroy! FRANKIE (GRUNTS) Frankie swings her giant arm. We cut to a close up of Cleo framed in a classic 30's movie queen pose. CLEO Oh, NOOOOO!!! Frankie's giant arm swings over Cleo's head and smashes the statue. WE CUT BACK TO: INT. HEADLESS HEADMISTRESSES BLOODGOOD’S OFFICE - DAY The headmistress takes in the story stoically. Frankie looks appalled. CLEO And that is how Frankie alone, smashed the statue. FRANKIE (STAMMERING) That is such... I mean... the facts of that story are in such disarray, Headmistress... The Headmistress takes off her head and holds it close to Frankie's face. Frankie leans back, nervously. HEADLESS HEADMISTRESS (SERIOUS) For two thousand years that statue (EXUBERANT) has imprisoned one of Monster High's first instructors. Smashing the statue freed her! She puts her head back on her neck and presses a button on her desk. The School's PA system fires up. HEADLESS HEADMISTRESS Professor Irene Maiden has been freed! EXT. HALLWAY Shots of various students in the hallway listening to the announcement. INT. HEADLESS HEADMISTRESSES OFFICE Frankie smiles.
