Draculaura is totally crushing on the new hot boy at school. Cleo decides she is going to blow her chances with him by giving her a hideous make over.

INT. HALLWAY – DAY
CUT TO LOW ANGLE HALLWAY
Doors open- crowds of students fill the hall.
CUT TO CLOCK- Students mill by and then DRACULAURA appears, back toward the camera. She is looking up at the clock.
DRACULAURA
Two minutes left!
WIDENS- Draculaura turns to her locker and begins to unlock the skull lock.
TIGHT ON DRACULAURA AS SHE OPENS HER LOCKER DOOR
DRACULAURA (CON’T)
Facecheck!
DRACULAURA takes out her lipstick, holding on to her locker door to steady the mirror on the inside. He begins to put it on and then becomes a bit disheartened, looking down at the lipstick as if it was useless.
CUT TO REV. ANGLE – SEEING MIRROR INSIDE LOCKER
It is now clear that Draculaura is invisible in it and all that is seen is a floating lipstick and the clock in the background.
DRACULAURA)
(Sighs)

WIDEN TO REVEAL CLEO DE NILE BEHIND HER LOCK DOOR
CLEO in one swift motion slams Draculaura’s lock door shut, leaning with one hand on the locker door and the other on her hip. Draculaura is surprised by this sudden movement.
CLEO DE NILE
Draculaura, you’re pretty pumped
for somebody without a pulse. Spill
to Cleo.
Cleo folds her arms in an inquiring manner.
WIDENS TO REVEAL MORE OF THE HALLWAY
Students are still milling about. Draculaura glances around with an innocent finger to her lip as Cleo stands posed.
DRACULAURA
Well, um, it’s just that, Have you
seen the new boy? He passes by my locker
every day about now.
Draculaura clasps her hands with joy and excitement.
CLEO
Oh, wow, really? Boring.
DRACULAURA
He is the hottest boy in school.
Draculaura lifts one leg as she swoons. Cleo stands unimpressed still.
TIGHT ON DRACULAURA AND CLEO
Draculaura put hers hands to her chest, above her heart and closes her eyes. She is struck by the cupid’s arrow. Cleo gives her a “you wish” look.
CLEO
(Scoffing)
Everyone knows my boyfriend, Deuce is the
Hottest guy at Monster High.
TIGHT ON DRACULAURA FROM BEHIND CLEO
Draculaura still swooning.
DRACULAURA
Yeah, of course, Deuce is awesome…for you,
but this guy. . . ahh. . .

Draculaura is in a daze, with her arms at her sides, feeling love butterflies. In a panic she turns to Cleo.
DRACULAURA
(Gasps)
Here he comes! Is my make-up alright?
Dracualaura goes to her locker mirror and tries to fix her hair.
CLOSE UP ON CLEO AND HER SINISTER GAZE
CLEO
(Dismissively)
You look fi…hmmm…like you need some help.
From around Cleo’s neck, which seemed to be a wrap, HISSETTE, Cleo’s pet cobra snake, comes uncoiled. She has a crown on her head and a temptress gaze much like Cleo. They look at each other with a mischievous twinkle.
CUT WIDE TO INCLUDE DRACULAURA
CLEO (CON’T)
Leave it to Cleo.
I’m gonna make your first meeting
really memorable.
TIGHT on Cleo placing her hand on Draculaura’s shoulder and leaning in. Draculaura gets excited at the prospect of having Cleo’s help.
CUT TO CLOSE UP ON CLEO. Cleo moves in, CLEO whips out an arsenal of make-up and is armed with make-up tools, as if they are going to attack. TIGHTENS ON HER with a wicked smile.
CUT BACK TO CLOSE UP ON DRACULAURA
She still has her eyes closed in anticipation, as Cleo is shadows cast over her face.
PAN OUT WIDE TO CLEO DOING DRACULAURA’S MAKEUP
Draculaura is leaning in as Cleo is working her makeup magic. In the background, students are still passing through the hallway. Cleo finishes and put her hands on her hips in a satisfying way.
CLEO
Knock ‘em dead.
DRACULAURA
Thanks, Cleo! (walks off – OS) You’re the best!
CLEO
And don’t you forget it!
CLEO (ALT)
No, I don’t think you will.
CUT TO PAN OF HALLWAY
Various MH students are passing through. From around the corner HEATH BURNS, the “Hot Boy”, and his buddy appear, walking slyly down the hall. HOT BOY’S friend veers off from him and HOT BOY playfully points at him.
HEATH BURNS
Ya dude! See ya on the other side!
A dizzy Draculaura turns, without revealing her face, and walks out of frame. Cleo watches her walk away. Draculaura accidentally runs into him.
CUT TO CLOSE UP ON DRACULAURA AND HER HORRIBLE MAKEUP
Draculaura’s make-up is a hot mess, with liner running down her face and lipstick everywhere. She takes a cutesy girl pose, flashing her bright doe eyes and her fang-filled smile. Hearts with batwings appear above her head.
DRACULAURA
(running into him)
Uhhhh…Hi!!
CUT BACK TO CLOSE UP ON HOT BOY
Heath recoils at the sight of Draculaura’s appearance.
HEATH BURNS
WHOA!!! You look…you look horrible!
CUT BACK – to Draculaura, who is very crushed by this.
DRACULAURA
(Gasps)
Her face drops and eyes well with tears.
WIDEN TO SEE HEATH. He has a perplexed look on his face.
Heath turns into his fire monster form and smiles her in a flirty way
Heath leans in to her and whispers in her ear and then grabs her by the chin and lifts her head to meet his eyes.
HEATH BURNS
I like that in a girl.
Draculaura in a state of shock, smiles back at him, nervously, and then pushes a loose piece of hair behind her ear.
PAN- HOT BOY AND DRACULAURA STEP OUT OF FRAME AS CLEO IS SEEN BEHIND THEM
Cleo is completely shocked by the whole incident, as they watch the couple walk away.
CUT TO- TIGHT ON HEATH AND DRACULAURA WALKING AWAY TOGETHER
Draculaura turns back to Cleo and gives her a huge thumbs up with a grin form ear to ear.
DRACULAURA
(Mouthing or Whispering)
Thanks, Cleo!
CUT BACK TO- CLEO, WITH FRANKIE STEIN NOW BESIDE HER. Cleo is stunned, as Frankie holds her schoolbooks to her chest with joy.
FRANKIE
I saw what you did. You are, like, so nice.
Cleo folds her arms, unimpressed as the BELL RINGS. Frankie runs out of frame.
Cleo stomps her foot in bratty frustration.
