Lagoona is mortified; they are her own people! She, with Frankie’s help, must save the frogs. ”Freedom Fight” FADE IN: INT. CLASSROOM – DAY CLOSE UP ON SOME FLYING CREATURE’S SKELETON Camera widens to MH students sitting, auditorium style in MR. SWEENEY’S science class, with the skeletons hanging above their heads. ESTABLISH and PUSH IN. CLOSE UP ON A CLEVER LODGED IN TABLE AT FRONT OF CLASSSROOM CAMERA TURNS 180 - CLOSE UP OF MR. SWEENEY MR. SWEENEY Today’s lesson is my favorite section- [he grabs a jar of frog creatures] Die-section! PAN OFF SWEENEY to A CLOSER SHOT OF THE MH STUDENTS The kids high-five each other and give other various signs of approval, except LAGOONA [AT CENTER] who is visibly upset. FRANKIE is sitting to her left, not noticing her dismay. CLOSE UP ON LAGOONA AND FRANKIE LAGOONA (gasp!) Frankie notices Lagoona’s concerns. PAN OFF THEM AND CUT TO CLOSE UP - JAR OF FROGS. The jar is filled to the brim with three-eyed frogs. They are cramped and a bit disoriented. One frog, FROGGIE, is crawling his way to the top of the masses. He stands on his hind legs and puts one webbed hand on the glass with weepy, innocent eyes. CUT TO CLOSE UP ON LAGOONA LAGOONA (saddened) Poor little green bro’s. do our hearts not beat the same. does not the same green blood flow through our veins. Lagoona puts her webbed hand up, reaching out to the frogs. CUT BACK TO A SLIGHTLY CLOSER SHOT OF FROGGIE IN SAME POSITION Froggie then takes his other webbed hand and presses it to the glass, a mirror image of Lagoona’s hand. CUT BACK - TIGHT ON LAGOONA Her hand still held in the air. Now her eyes are welling up with tears, and she bites her lower lip in angst. She brings her hand to her face. CUT BACK – TIGHTER ON FROGGIE IN SAME POSITION His eyes also fill with tears, in a sad and innocent way. Suddenly, Froggie’s long tongue pops out and licks the glass in front of his face and then recoils back into his mouth. FROGGIE BACK TO TIGHT ON LAGOONA LAGOONA (hands to face) That is SO wrong! WIDEN OUT to Lagoona and Frankie- Lagoona turns to Frankie and grabs her by the arms. LAGOONA Frankie, I need an assist. Lagoona brings both of her hands to her face in distress. Frankie, with a smile, begins to take out the stitches connecting her left hand to her arm. FRANKIE You got it, Lagoona. Always happy to lend a hand. . . Frankie holds her left arm out and pulls on one long string across her body. TIGHT ON LEFT SIDE OF FRANKIE, SEATED AT HER DESK She has pulled the string completely out and her left hand is falling toward the classroom floor. TIGHT ON FRANKIES LOOSE HAND USING FINGERS TO STAND WIDEN to Frankie’s HAND crawling on its fingers, and it runs over to Mr. Sweeney and begins to tickle him. He laughs hysterically. CUT TO REV. ANGLE of FRANKIE’S HAND crawling toward a table with an open jar of eyeballs on it. CUT TO – TIGHT ON HAND REACHING IN JAR Frankie’s Hand grabs the eyes and begins to throw them across the classroom. CUT TO – CLEO DE NILE SITTING AT HER DESK, WITH DEUCE TO HER RIGHT. She is scowling as per usual. Suddenly, she is hit on the left side of her head by one of the eyeballs being thrown by Frankie’s Hand. CLEO (wincing) Hey! Cleo turns and looks to see what the culprit is. Deuce catches on that something is happening too, as more eyeballs wiz past theirs heads. Cleo swiftly ducks to avoid getting hit. The eyeballs pass over her head and hit Deuce square in the face. TIGHT ON DEUCE’S BUST Two eyeballs hit Deuce in his sunglasses, making him look as if he has two crazy eyes. Deuce grabs the eyeball off of his face. WIDEN TO- Deuce holding the two eyeballs, while Cleo is sheepishly ducking. A couple of other STUDENTS are seen throwing eyes behind them. Now a ton of eyeballs are being thrown through the air and an all-out war has erupted in the classroom. Deuce hurls the two eyeballs he is holding across the room. ALL (WALLA, LAUGHTER, GROSSED OUT SOUNDS) CUT TO- DRACULAURA and CLAWDEEN on the other side of the classroom behind their desk. Clawdeen gets in on the action and throw one herself. Draculaura, who is cunningly crouching down, gets in on the action too by launching her own eyeball weapon. Another student stands up in front of then and chucks an eyeball. CUT TO LAGOONA AND FRANKIE AT THEIR LAB TABLE TIGHT- They are ducking down, holding on to theirs desks, pretty pleased with themselves. Lagoona gets up and zips off, out of frame. CUT TO MR. SWEENEY INFRONT OF a LARGE WOODEN CABINET TIGHT- Sweeney’s back is facing away from the classroom, so he hasn’t noticed the mayhem of the eyeball fight. WIDEN – SWEENEY OPENS THE CABINET TO REVEAL AND ARSENAL OF WEAPONS MR.SWEENY (Humming sing-song) Aahh. (Laugh) WIDENS- to Frankie’s Hand on the ground behind him, which begins to crawl toward him. TIGHT- SWEENEY HEAD AND HANDS TOGETHER Sweeney is rubbing his hands together with a sinister delight. SWEENEY (With an odd grin) Huh? PAN OUT- To reveal that Frankie’s Hand is tickling him under his arm. He moves about, doing a silly dance. WIDEN- FULL BODY SHOT OF SWEENEY MOVING ABOUT He is reaching behind him, trying to find the source of the bothersome tickle, as he gyrates back and forth. CUT TO- TIGHT SHOT OF JAR OF FROGS ON SWEENEY’S TABLE Lagoon enters frame and grabs the jar. LAGOONA (to frogs) No worries. We’re out, Dudes! (She zips off) CUT TO- DRACULAURA STANDING AT HER LAB TABLE The other students are in the background tossing eyes. Draculaura is throwing an eyeball, when the BELL RINGS, and she turns around. All the students stop in their tracks. CUT TO- MR. SWEENEYS HAND REACHING UP FROM BEHIND HIS DESK Sweeney grabs onto the desk for support, as he pulls himself up off of the floor with a look of relief. With a look and angry puzzlement, he stares out into the classroom. CUT TO – Rev. of classroom, with no students in sight. They all split when the bell rang. A few eyeballs are bouncing around still. SWEENEY Oi! Where did everyone go?!? (With a sigh) Class dismissed. . . WIPE TO: INT. HALLYWAY – DAY Lagoona is wiping her hands together, as if to say, a job well done. Frankie runs up to her, hold her hand, which she has just put back on. Lagoona fold her arms with pleasure. FRANKIE Nice save! Where are they? TIGHT ON – LAGOONA FROM BEHIND FRANKIE LAGOONA I found a place where they can chill. ZOOM OUT TO SHOW- LONG VIEW OF HALLWAY Lagoona stands, cross armed still and glances toward the other end of the hallway. Frankie, puzzled, looks in the same direction. GIRLS (OS) Ewww! Gross!!! Ewww!! Gross!!! PAN TO- JUST OUTSIDE IN GIRL’S RESTROOM IN HALLWAY. A couple of students are casually standing in the hall as THREE GIRLS come flying out of the Girl’s Restroom, screaming. They run straight toward the camera. INT. GIRL’S RESTROOM Various students are looking in with wonderment, as the camera PANS IN toward the three stalls, where a bunch of mutant frogs are popping out of the toilets. ZOOMS IN- Froggie, perched on the side of the toilet bowl. He sticks his tongue out and licks his own eye. TIGHT ON FROGGIE FROGGIE BUUUURRRP!
